The Rabbitts™~Mat was conceived on a sunny afternoon in August 1998 by a mother of three called Virginia Rabbitts. After watching her wriggly nine month old she decided to use her skills as an engineer to create a changing mat with a harness inside it. For that first proto-type, she used a standard rectangular changing mat, an old car seat harness and a piece of hardboard found in her garage.
At Rabbitts, we are only too aware that many babies and children are injured through falling. We are committed to help prevent these accidents suffered by our children in the home and when out and about.
